An Event Space Rich in Hudson Valley History
Were he alive today, famed local 19th-century architect Arnout Cannon would likely be beaming about the change that’s come to one of the buildings on the street named for him in downtown Poughkeepsie. Built in 1845 as a church and redesigned by Cannon as a Masonic Temple in 1895, our glorious Gilded Age structure at 32 Cannon Street—instantly recognizable by the opulent Grecian columns adorning its facade—was said to have been the architect’s favorite project.
Brimming with history, full of character, and outfitted with luxury modern amenities, Revel 32° is a Hudson Valley event space like no other. With six unique event spaces that can be packaged to suit your needs, our stunning cityscape venue can be designed to transform your one-of-a-kind vision into a truly spectacular event.
Having already invested in the neighborhood, family members Jim & Gina Sullivan, Lillie & Nick Muscente, Vito & Jen Galasso, John & Karen Galasso, and James & Rebecca LaRusch saw tremendous potential in the building at 32 Cannon Street. They purchased the former Masonic Temple in 2019 and a painstaking restoration ensued to transform this 20,000 square foot building into the impressive and diverse event space known today as Revel 32°.
In this transformation, careful attention was paid to honor the history of the building, which is especially evident in the exquisite coffered tin ceilings, stained glass windows, and brick facade, while many modern and elegant enhancements such as granite bars, sputnik lighting, hardwood floors, wifi, and state of the art lighting and sound were added to refresh the space.
